FAQ

Sync licensing questions

Who owns the music and the masters?
Arkancia owns the masters for every release we publish. For sync licenses, clients receive the exact rights their tier covers — Standard, Extended, or Exclusive. Our contract templates and chain-of-title documentation are designed to be clearable by major ad agencies, broadcasters, and platforms.
Can I license a track for a campaign?
Yes. Every track on the site marked "Sync Available" is clearable. Standard (€) covers one region, one medium, one year. Extended (€€) covers multi-region, multi-medium, 3 years. Exclusive (€€€€) is a full buyout, negotiated per project. Use the contact form or email hello@arkancia.studio with your brief.
Which territories does a Standard sync license cover?
Standard covers one territory of your choice (e.g. France, EU, US, or Worldwide Digital) and one medium (e.g. YouTube pre-roll, in-store retail, or TV spot) for twelve months. If you need more coverage, upgrade to Extended (multi-region, multi-medium, three years) or Exclusive (full buyout, perpetual).
How fast can you turn around a custom sync?
For catalog tracks: same-day clearance, paperwork within 48 hours. For custom adaptations (re-edits, instrumentals, stem swaps): three to seven business days depending on scope. For bespoke briefs from scratch: two to six weeks. Rush fees apply for anything under 72 hours.
